As a partner in the law firm of Buckley and Zopf, Tony brings more than 26 years of trial experience. Raised in Sunapee, New Hampshire, Tony attended Keene State College, where he graduated cum laude, in 1984. He attended New England School of Law in Boston where he graduated magna cum laude in 1987. From 1987 to 1988 Tony served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Justices of the New Hampshire Superior Court. He has been in the private practice of law since 1988 concentrating his practice in the areas of Criminal Defense, DUI/Motor Vehicle Defense, Domestic Relations, Personal Injury and Civil Litigation.
Tony has handled many cases in the District and Superior Courts of New Hampshire including civil, personal injury, criminal and domestic cases. He has also argued several cases before the New Hampshire Supreme Court, including State v. Lorton, an often cited case establishing the level of proof required for a DUI/DWI conviction.
Tony is a member of the American Bar Association, the New Hampshire Bar Association, the New Hampshire Association for Justice, and the New Hampshire Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.
Tony currently resides in Claremont, New Hampshire with his wife. Tony serves on the board of directors for the Community Alliance of Human Services Tony is also an avid runner and hiker, having completed six marathons, qualifying for the Boston Marathon, completed the Mount Washington Road Race twice and climbed many of New Hampshire’s 4000 foot peaks.
